This project comes within a group of musicians led by percussionist Filippo Lattanzi.
A project dedicated to the marimba with the stated intention of breaking the barriers between classical music and other music such as jazz or world music.
At the base of the experiment is the idea of reworking some scores of great composers (A. Vinao, A. Thomas, J. Schwantner, P. Smadbeck, Emmanuel Sejourne) subjecting to tonal noise from other genres without altering the spirit of innovation that has marked the occasion of the composition.

This training shows its uniqueness in the relationship between different musical finely connected. The band members come from musical high professionalism, the convergence of their skills and experience, results in a group so versatile, it can not be placed in a generally foreshadowed.
The Jacaranda Ensemble is formed either by soloists from the classic areas of high-level jazz musicians from across the spectrum.
The individual experiences have led them to share music with personalities of high musical value, citing only a small part, you can mention the Masters Lorin Maazel, Luciano Berio, Alain Lombard, John Elliot Gardiner, Pierre Boulez, Daniel Oren solo classics such as, Martha Argerich, Mischa Maisky, Benedetto Lupo, jazz musicians such as Alex Acuña, James Newton, Rachel Z, Michael Rosen, Achille Succi. They were guests of the prestigious halls such as the Musik Halle in Hamburg, the Chopin Academy in Warsaw, the Academy, Concert in Prague, the Victory Hall in Cleveland, the Auditorium of the RAI in Turin, the Teatro Comunale in Florence, Konzertsaal KKL Lucerne, the Teatro Politeama, the Auditorium Giuseppe Verdi in Milan and many others.
During 2013, the group Jacaranda Ensemble has performed in festivals and exhibitions of national and international, invited by PAS Greece in the room "Athenaeum International Cultural" of Athens, to the XXVIII edition of the International festival "Time Zones" of 2013 and for the International Conference of percussionists "World Percussion Movement".
2014 saw them engaged on tour in the Netherlands, Portugal and the United States.
In the spring of 2016 will see the release of their first CD, which will include premieres of works dedicated to them and commissioned from composers of international fame. From February to October, the ensemble will be busy on tour in the United States, Spain and Portugal.
