Vacalist

 

Began singing in folk groups, medieval music, rock, jazz). She attended lessons about “Harmony and jazz improvisation technique” with m° Gianni Lenoci at Conservatorio “N. Rota” in Monopoli. Then she studied vocal technique with soprano Lucia Naviglio.

 

She took part in masterclasses on this matter too: “Voice Craft” with M° Elisa Turlà; jazz improvisation and performing with M° Sarah Jane Morris and Ian Show (BBC Award Best Jazz Vocalist 2006); Ethnic and harmonic singing technique with M° Mauro Tiberi.

 

As a soloist of a gospel choir in Bari, during 11 years, she sang together with Jenny B and Patrizia Conte, among others.

   She founded other groups/ensemble and got involved in several festivals: Talos Festival - Ruvo di Puglia, Comune di Bari, Bari in jazz 2010, Gezziamoci Onyx Jazz Club - Matera.

 

Among collaborations: (2004, in Bari and Rome) guest of keyboardist Rachel Z and her American trio;(2013) with Roberto Ottaviano cooperating for the project Soul of the planet; (2015) with Andrea Centazzo and his “Invisibile Orchestra”.

 

She performed as vocalist and actress in Med-ea, inspired by Medea of Euripide and Argonautiche of Apollonio Rodio. Particularly interested to vocal experimentation, she was attracted by electronic, ethnic and contemporary music. She composed also lyrics for original songs. 

 

She works in advertising from 29 years and lives in Bari.
