The “Percussive Notes (USA) defined Lattanzi as an outstanding interpreter and as one of the leading figures in the worldwide panorama of marimba and percussions.

 

His activity as an artist has included hundreds of concerts as a soloist with Orchestra and chamber music in more country and in most important concert halls, such as the Musik Halle in Hamburg, the Chopin Musical Academy in Warsaw, the Praha Concert Academy, the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, theKonzertsaal KKL in Luzern, the Auditorium della RAI in Torino, the Teatro Comunale in Firenze, the Sala Giuseppe Verdi in Milano, the Piccolo Teatro alla Scala in Milano.

 

He recorded numerous compact discs with important labels like, Sony, Harmonia Mundi, CPO, Forlane, Naxos, EMI Classics and DAD RECORDS. He is an ADAMS, GRESCTH and SABIAN endorser.

 

As classical percussionist, Lattanzi has presented European and italian premiere performances of works by Richard Rodney Bennett, Luciano Berio, Franco Donatoni, Jean Pierre Drouet, Eric Ewazen, Ivan Fedele, Vinko Globokar, Gerard Grisey, Evan Hause, Raymond Helble, Peter Klatzow, Peer Norgard, Gabriela Ortiz, Kaija Saariaho, Joseph Schwantner, Toru Takemitsu, Andrew Thomas, Alejandro Viñao, James Wood, and many others.
